Kite Runner

This is a story about the ever lasting relationship between two boys and maturation of Amir, son of a headman, Baba in kabul - afghanistan . Hassan is half brother of Amir which is revealed later in the novel by Rahim Khan, who is a boon companion of Baba and a mentor of Amir. But Amir was told that hassan is son of ali, who works for Baba's family for ages.
Amir likes to write stories since his childhood. He reflects his darkest memories in his stories. He likes hassan and often plays with him but he is jealous about the relationship between hassan and his father, Baba. Amir and Hassan fly kites together and Hassan is always a good kite runner. Once Hassan ran to get the kite as trophy to Amir, he was caught by some bullies and sexually assaulted. He undergoes this pain just sake of giving that kite to Amir. Amir saw that agonizing thing from distant and ran away without even helping him. This terrible incident separated them.
Then Baba and Amir migrate to states because of the invasion of russians. There Baba works in a shop and made Amir to study medicine but Amir was more interested in writing. Then he got married to soraya,daughter of general sahib. But they weren't able to pass their generation. Then Baba grew old and passed away. Eventually Amir cames to know that Rahim on his last days, so he went to help him. In this point of the story rahim reveals the truth that Hassan was born to baba and ali's wife, Sanaubar. Then rahim says that Hassan and his wife were shot dead by talibans and his son, sohrab is struggling in the orphanage of Kabul. Amir went to kabul to bring sohrab back with him. There sohrab was assaulted by the same guy who assaulted hassan. Amir went to that guy in order to rescue sohrab but there sohrab slingshots that guy and they both returned to states.
In the last scene of this story Amir and his adpoted son, sohrab flies kite. Then Amir ran to get the kite for sohrab.
In their childhood, Amir used to read stories with hassan. Even though Hassan couldn't read and write, he is matured and ingenious enough to tackle his life issues. He always wanted to hear to a story of Rostam and Sohrab. (In remembrance of his childhood he named his son sohrab).
Amir talks about his own story named tears into pearls, in which a man finds a magic cup which turns his tears into pearls so he kills his wife and crys out to become rich. Hassan replies that the man can even smelled an onion to cry. This exemplifies the intelligence and ingenuity of hassan.
